Our Business
Assistant Site Manager

Your Role
At an early stage it is likely that your responsibilities will be to assist in the day to day management of the production process on site, including the monitoring of safety, construction delivery and quality. This will include assisting with the co-ordination and monitoring of all supply chain activities onsite to ensure compliance with specified agreements and contracts, acting as a point of contact for all suppliers and labour employed onsite and ensuring activities comply with all health, safety and welfare requirements.

Your Degree
We would expect you to either have just completed your degree or be in your final year of a construction related degree that is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Builders (CIOB), either way we need you to have achieved a 2.1 or be on track for achieving one. In exceptional circumstances we will consider graduates who have a non-cognate degree coupled with a genuine interest in our industry. While achieving chartered status will be more of a challenge we will provide support for an appropriate conversion course.

Your Profile
We need you to have strong technical knowledge but equally important is your ability to work as an integral team member, have well developed written and verbal communication skills and not be afraid to question and challenge.

Your Career Path
Throughout the early stages of your career we will provide you with the support you need to become a member of the Chartered Institute of Builders (CIOB). In parallel with this you will have numerous learning opportunities through participating in our Graduate Framework and taking advantage of other development activities. For the next stage of your career you might decide to stay in the site management stream or branch out into project or design management - either way the career opportunities available are limited only by your ambition.
