Health and Safety is a high-profile commitment and our control frameworks, policies and procedures are the subject of separate and continuous review at Group Board level.
We have dedicated teams of Health and Safety professionals across the business, who provide support at local level in terms of accident prevention, risk assessment and the promotion of Health and Safety awareness. They are also part of our structured audit process. Strong links are maintained with external regulatory and advisory Health and Safety bodies, and our staff provide a proactive Health and Safety training and development facility.
Miller is proud of its safety record and we monitor our achievements against sector standards, with a view to ensuring a safety conscious culture at all levels of the organisation. The Construction division's excellent 2006 safety performance was their best ever. Health and Safety remains and will always remain a key priority for the business, both in operational and strategic terms.
