Miller Construction is continuing its involvement in the expansion of The Forum at Solent Business Park, Hampshire with the award of a £13m contract to build two offices and an amenity building.
Work has started on Forum 5 and Forum 6 at Parkway, Whiteley Village, on behalf of The Prudential. Miller Construction completed Forum 4 last year.
The two buildings will provide 4,970sqm and 4,011sqm respectively over three floors with 358 car parking spaces. The new high-quality office blocks will feature glass and silver cladding to ensure a similar appearance to the current buildings on the business park and have been designed with flexible floor plates in order to meet potential occupiers’ needs.
The Forum is a 30-acre development contained within Solent Business Park which has detailed consent for 54,872sqm of office space. A total of twelve buildings are proposed for the site, with Forum 1, 3 and 4 complete. The buildings have been designed to achieve a Very Good rating under the Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Methodology.
