Strategic Targets
- Minimal construction waste disposed to landfill by 2010, with a significant reduction as an interim milestone, towards an ultimate goal of zero waste. A 20% reduction target has been set for 2008.
- Minimise the amount of waste arising from site preparation that is sent to landfill. A 20% reduction target has been set for 2008.
- Find out what it means to be carbon neutral and to set appropriate targets by 2007. We will deliver progress in this area by 2010.
- Reduce the direct emissions of greenhouse gases arising from our own operations by 30% before 2012 compared to a baseline year of 2007. By 2010 we aim to reduce our emissions by 20%. A 10% reduction target has been set for 2008.
