Edinburgh Park

The development of Edinburgh Park began in 1990. To date circa 1.3 million sq ft of the development has been built out.

The Park welcomed its first occupier in 1995, and is now the business location for numerous leading businesses from a range of different sectors, including telecoms, technology, finance and property, with a combined workforce in excess of 7,000.

Edinburgh Park is being developed by New Edinburgh Limited, a joint venture between Miller Developments and CEC Holdings Ltd, a subsidiary of the City of Edinburgh Council and is a 120 acre site adjoining the City Bypass.

A railway station has been built at the southern end of the Park which provides a new stop on the main line, opening up direct links to fourteen stations in Edinburgh, West Lothian and Central Scotland and connections to other stations such as Glasgow, Fife and Dundee, as well as linking into the Edinburgh Cross Rail system to the east of the city at Newcraighall.

Over the next 15 -20 years, New Edinburgh Limited will develop into the Southern End at Edinburgh Park, with permission to develop over 2 million sq ft of accommodation.

The Park itself is home to a rich and diverse range of plants and wildlife. Tree-lined boulevards and landscaped surroundings make Edinburgh Park popular with both its employees and visitors.
