Miller Developments announces Fort William Plans

Miller Developments has finalised an agreement with the Locheil Estate to develop Blar Mhor, a 105 acre site in Fort Willliam.

The site has been allocated in the Finalised Draft West Highland and Islands Local Plan for mixed use development including retail, community uses, business, and leisure.
 
David Milloy, Miller Developments’ joint managing director, says:  '' Fort William has not benefited from significant new development for many years. Blar Mhor has the capability of sustaining a wide range of uses which will enhance and complement what the town currently offers. Miller has the financial resources and the expertise to take a development of this scale forward and to completion.

“We have commenced a dialogue with Highland Council and as new regulations require we will be undertaking a full consultation exercise in the New Year. This will enable us to ensure that the public's views help us to shape the masterplan for the whole site.''
